This performance emerged from a collective exercise developed in Maan’s Creative Writing Workshop. Using memoir writing as their approach, each participant narrates the day of Kaveh Golestan’s death. Together, the ten texts offer personal, polyphonic and distinct perspectives on a single historical moment.

The project was created and produced entirely by members of Maan. Every stage, from writing and performing the texts to designing the poster, editing the book and managing the wider production process was carried out collectively within the group.
