The Maan Literary Circle is an Oslo-based initiative founded by Madihe Gharibi and formally established in 2025. It is dedicated to building a community among Farsi-speaking people around the world through literature and writing.

Maan seeks to connect people who are scattered across different countries and communities, creating a shared space in which writing can become a form of belonging and a home to live in.

Its activities include workshops, literary events, talks, publications, performances, and podcasts. Maan brings together Farsi-speaking people from Iran, Afghanistan, Norway, and elsewhere through literature and writing.

“Maan” means “home” in Persian.
